Davies Group are currently seeking an Accounts Administrator to join their Accommodation team in Stoke on a full-time permanent basis Spanning across both Accounts Receivable and Account Payable functions, this role plays a key part in the day-to-day running of Davies, ensuring that monies received are processed and paid to suppliers and contractors in a timely fashion.

The role is based in our Stoke office. There will be no requirement to travel to other areas of the business.

What your day will look like:

  • Recording incoming monies from bank to ledger
  • Accurately coding and allocation of invoices and posting of cash
  • Building payment runs to our network of suppliers
  • Producing remittances for payments to suppliers and contractors
  • Handling queries and resolving problems
  • Assisting with monthend closing
  • Making urgent payments
  • Active debt management

Abilities and Knowledge:

  • Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines
  • The ability to work in a team as well as individually
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level of skill in organising and prioritising
  • Good IT skills, proficiency in excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
