JOB DESCRIPTION - EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant

  • Position: EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant.
  • Responsibilities include oneonone and small group work with children.
  • Supporting children with SEND such as ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • Providing assistance both in and out of the classroom.
  • Collaborating with professionals and the SENCO.
  • Longterm, fulltime position for the entire academic year.
  • Salary: £ £100 per day (dependent on experience).
  • Location: Elephant & Castle.

PERSON SPECIFICATION - EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant:

  • Strong academic background, including a degree (preferred but not essential), A levels, and GCSEs.
  • Solid understanding of SEND is required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or personal experience with SEND is desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively within a large team and willingness to learn.
  • Outgoing, forwardthinking, and creative personality.
  • Calm and compassionate nature.
