My clients are a dynamic and ambitious Law Firm with 3 adjoining offices in Blackpool and have a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Manager / Office Manager to join them.
This is a great opportunity to be a key part of the firm. They are a long established practice with a great reputation in the area.
A background in law is not essential, however you must be from professional services, or have a business acumen and skills which can be transferred to this position.
The Role:
Dealing with Compliance - Lexcel annual audit, Conveyancing accreditations and Legal Aid contract.
Ensuring staff training records are completed, arranging courses such as money laundering courses and other CPD courses for fee earners.
The firm currently have a HR consultancy who are rewriting their office manual and policies but need someone to pull this together and write offer letters to staff, deal with personnel files, records etc.
Attend weekly / fortnightly directors meetings and prepare the agenda, minutes of meetings and support directors to ensure outcomes are progressed.
Varied role, supporting the directors and firm as a whole.
Accountancy skills or understanding of accounts rules would be beneficial.
