Benjamin Lee Artisan Bakery is looking to expand. We are currently recruiting for our new branch

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide recommendations
  • Prepare and package deli products such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed during food preparation and handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
  • Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues
  • Upsell additional deli items or promotions to customers

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food preparation setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling purposes
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Culinary training or certification is a plus

From £10.50 per hour
