The role


The Receptionist is an extremely important part of the team and is the main point of contact for patients and a focus point for visitors.

With full responsibility for the reception area the team perform a vital communication role connecting the wider administrativefunctions of the business.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Answering and actioning incoming calls.
  • Arranging and rearranging patient appointments.
  • Provide administrative support and backup as required to the Patient Liaison Department and Accounts Team.
  • Responsible for sending out medical records.
  • Meet and greet visitors.
  • Support meetings including setup and cleaning of room, arranging lunch and refreshments, water and stationery etc.
  • Opening and distributing incoming post.
  • Franking outgoing post.
  • Scanning documents.
  • General administration e.g. filling, franking, shredding and stationery ordering.
  • Responsible for kitchen tidying at the end of the day.
  • To perform any other administrative duties to support the business of OHG as identified by the Head of Service Delivery.
