Senior Support Worker and support worker for children with learning difficulties_

Insight Care are a new provider of therapeutic children's homes within the Birmingham area.

Built with a solid foundation of a management team who have decades of experience within the sector we know the importance of the role of a senior support worker in the day to day running the home and the outcomes of the children.

We know the skill, knowledge and confidence this takes.

You will be looked to as a role model by the children and young people and your team alike, you will be expected to take the lead when required, delegate and be a cool head at all times.


With this in mind we are committed to ensuring that you are properly supported, looked after, really well trained and have a great work life balance to be able to be at their best when supporting the children within the home.

You will have day to day support from an experienced manager and deputy manager, clear pathways for progression and training to support this, a great work life balance, comprehensive induction, team building, good sleep-in rates and other benefits.


Our first home is for children with learning difficulties and we want to ensure that we create a real home with a family feel to ensure that all children and young people but also all staff feel safe, supported and at their best at all times.

We are looking to create a strong team and to promote retention, internal progression and development as we grow.

Therefore, for the senior role we are looking for people with previous experience and a relevant level 3 qualification to be able to help shape and guide our new team.

Salary:
Up to £12.00 per hour
