We are looking for a Head of Health, Safety and Risk to lead the Health and Safety team, within the Quality and Governance portfolio, at Hft.

Salary:
£64,000 plus a car user allowance £3840 and home working allowance of £288 per year. IT equipment is provided to support the role.

What will you be doing?


The purpose of this role is to develop and implement strategic and operational systems for health, safety and risk management across all aspects of Hft's activity.

Reporting to the Chief Quality and Governance Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining appropriate professional accreditations and a high level of knowledge and competence within this field
  • Liaising with external agencies & managing external visits / follow up activities
  • Lead for Health and Safety compliance assurance and providing remedial advisory
  • Working with stakeholders to develop and deliver business continuity plans
  • Leading the team, managing budgets, performance and development
  • Monitoring KPIs and providing management information to the senior team
  • You will also hold responsibilities as part of the senior leadership team of Hft
