JOB DETAILS:

- £11.50 per hour

  • Monday
  • Friday (Optional weekend work sometimes available)
  • 28 days paid Holiday (including Bank Holidays).
  • As a general rule the work is long distance and our drivers regularly cover 400+ Miles per day.
  • Most loads are 1 Drop, however on occasions there could be multiple drops on a route (we do not deliver parcels so this will never exceed 6 Drops per day).
  • Varied start times based on the delivery location(s)
  • This will include regular early starts (e.g. 4/5 am)
  • Some nights out where driving hours do not allow a return to home. Quality accommodation and Meal/Drinks paid for by the company.
  • Weekly pay

JOB DUTIES:

  • Assisting in the safe Loading & Unloading of your vehicle, in most cases this will be mechanically loaded and unloaded but in some instances the drivers will be required to help lift items on and off the vehicle.
  • Checking vehicle preshift to ensure safety standards are met
  • Maintaining vehicle Cleanliness and the vehicles image
  • Delivering varied loads to all parts of UK.
  • Maintaining satisfactory records of the loads completed and completion of delivery paperwork as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • No more than 6 points on licence.
  • Previous experience in driving 3.5T vehicles is preferred however not essential
  • Previous experience in securing loads using ratchet straps etc. is preferred however not essential
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
