We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College. We are looking for
Team Administrator.


You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £24,853 pa inc London Weighting.

The
Team Administrator
role:

The post holder will provide a full range of administrative duties to support curriculum areas.

Key Responsibilities of our Team Administrator:

  • Work closely with other administrative colleagues to establish standardised administrative systems, processes and working practices across the college
  • Assist in the coordination of meetings, events and the preparation of major college events. This includes student and staff interviews, student inductions meeting student reviews as well as parent evenings.
  • Liaise with students and parents to establish and record the reason for nonattendance and work with curriculum teams to agree a plan for facilitating a return to college using appropriate strategies within specified timescales

Our ideal Team Administrator should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office Packages
  • Experience of producing reports, updating data bases and spread sheets
  • Educated to a good standard with excellent communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of equality of opportunity and have practical ideas on how to implement it
