AK Teaching are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to work in one of our partner SEN schools in the Ashington area.

This role will involve delivering pre -planned material to secondary aged learners in an SEN environment.

Pupils may exhibit challenging behaviours, so it is important that you are to show resilience in this role.

  • Experience working with young people.
  • A positive approach to supporting students.
  • A passion for education and helping young student reach their potential.
All applicants must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo relevant DBS checks.


As a Cover supervisor, the successful applicant will; monitor progress, encourage a positive learning environment and enable pupils to enjoy learning, even when it's difficult.

The successful applicant will have the ability to monitor pupils, be committed, hardworking, resilient and a strong team player.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary:
£80.00-£90.00 per day
