Birkenhead, Wirral, United Kingdom Insight IAPT Full time

Service Director (Wirral) - Insight IAPT - Northwest England

We are a mental health charity with one purpose: we are here so nobody struggles alone. We deliver this purpose through our mission to provide high-quality, integrated mental health and wellbeing services, placing people and communities at the heart of everything we do.

This is the best possible time to join us, as we define our clinical and structural agenda to take us into the next phase of our journey as an organisation.

We are completing a significant national transformation programme of our IAPT services, and exploring how to more closely integrate with the local healthcare systems.

We have strong, well-established relationships with our commissioners and system partners in the Wirral, and have gained a great reputation as a creative, innovative partner with proven outcomes.

Due to this our commissioners have recently extended the contract and we continue to work closely with them, planning for the future.

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative person to continue growing our reputation, great outcomes and standards even further.

As the NHS and commissioning landscape moves to a more local, system-based approach to care, we want to combine our more than 30 years of experience with our ambitious new data programme, together with our strongly held values, to become the country's leading charitable provider of integrated mental health and wellbeing services.

Underpinning these goals is an absolute dedication to our organisational values of innovation, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence.

Our highest priority is to ensure that the care we provide is delivered in the most accessible and compassionate way, placing people and our communities at the heart of everything we do.

About you

  • Senior level operational leadership experience in IAPT services.
  • Proven track record of leading a highperforming team to achieve performance targets, whilst also ensuring individuals are engaged and motivated.
  • Proven ability to build strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders and commissioners, and ability to negotiate effectively and influence at all levels.
  • A proven track record within a changeled organisation and capable of ensuring the highest level of patient care through continual change management.
  • Commercially astute, financially literate, and able to show good commercial judgment.
  • A commitment to and evidence of displaying our organisational values of innovation, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence.
  • An ability to think analytically and use data to inform and shape delivery.
