About the Job:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading aviation organization as a Supply Chain Coordinator. The role involves working 3 days onsite at their Broughton, Chester offices and 2 days remotely.

  • Looking for someone with a strong background in supply chain, preferably with experience in SAP systems
  • Open to candidates from various industries, as long as they have a solid understanding of supply chain processes
  • We need someone who can get up to speed quickly and make an immediate impact
  • Experience with Google Suite would be a bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the supplier portfolio on a daily basis using existing tools and upcoming digitalization methods
  • Identify and address potential risks proactively
  • Control demand and forecasts effectively
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams, colleagues, and suppliers, and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Hold suppliers accountable for their performance when necessary
  • Drive supplier recoveries and improvements
  • Develop optimal ordering strategies and characteristics
  • Implement process automation when applicable
  • Utilize data management tools to enhance decision-making in the supply chain
  • Manage order books and maintain MRP master data
  • Coordinate with Supplier Working Parties
  • Engage with suppliers across regions, both remotely and on-site, and actively participate in procurement initiatives
  • Act as the primary contact for supply chain-related inquiries from operations
  • Contribute to Supply Chain and Logistics Transformation projects to shape the future

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, or Design Engineering
  • Proficiency in utilizing digital tools and solutions
  • Knowledge of international operations and collaborations
  • Expertise in MRP systems and SAP within a manufacturing setting
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, team player, and proficient in English for negotiations
  • Background in project management and LEAN principles
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively across all business levels
