Overview of Role

:

This post involves providing support and aiding both the Executive Administrator and Procurement Manager within the National finance team.

You will be a proactive and professional individual with a passion for administration and future advancement in the sector.

The Apprenticeship

:

You will be working towards your
Level 3 Business administration qualification across a duration of 16 months.

You will have online monthly review sessions with your allocated tutor through LMP Education, plus support from your work place mentor.

(All apprenticeship training is delivered remotely online).

Salary is dependent on age

:

16 and 17 years= £4.81 per hour. Annual wage of £9, If you're 18+ you'll be on £5 per hour. Annual wage of £9,620.00.

Main Responsibilities

:

  • To be an established, trusted, and reliable member of the academy's support staff.
  • To consistently model the highest of professional standards in role as a key member of staff to all, across the academy and local community.
  • To assist the Operations Manager and Health and Safety Lead in maintaining a high level of administration support.
  • To provide support in ensuring all systems are kept up to date.
  • To act as a point of contact in the assistance of property & estate matters at selected Oasis academies in support of the Principal, Oasis staff and other external service providers.
  • To assist in ensuring Finance systems are up to date and report on status of tickets.
  • To ensure that all thirdparty systems are up to date and new starters are added.
  • To assist the Operations Mangers in keeping the Verified Contractor system compliant and assist in liasing with contractors to obtain relevant information
  • To ensure assist he PA to the director is booking travel and accommodation for members of the Property and Estates Team.
  • Assist the Health and Safety Lead in collection, analyzing and reporting on Health and Safety data
  • Support in placing uniform and PPE ordering for the property and Estates Team
  • Be responsible for ordering ID badges for the verified contractor system
  • Assist Operations Manager with ordering IT equipment for new starters

Procurement Responsibilities Examples:

Manage the central Amazon Business account, Update price lists, catalogues and other procurement information, Liaising with suppliers, Support with onboarding new suppliers, Run spend reports for suppliers and categories of spend and Manage the Travel Management.


Desired skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT packages including data bases, Skype and OneDrive
  • An excellent standard of written and spoken English and be able to communicate effectively with a range of people
  • High level ICT skills and high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Calm and adaptable with an ability to work within a flexible and busy environment
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills


Applicants MUST have achieved both their English and Maths GCSE's at grade C/4 or above, or functional skills Level 2/ or the equivalent.
