We are looking for a fantastic Optometrist to join our experienced team at Boots Opticians Taunton, open to both part time and full time, as we understand flexibility is important. We are ideally located within a Boots UK Store with Hearing Care therefore provide a range of care to our patients. The practice boasts 3 testing rooms equipped with Phoropters and OCT, therefore you'll be working with the best equipment. We're within good transport links to Bristol, Plymouth and Exeter via train and benefit from lots of available parking within a short distance from the store. We also have a high volume of patients from the surrounding area who use our amazing services in Taunton for their care needs. As an Optometrist with us you'll be providing excellent customer and patient care. Working alongside the Practice Manager, Optical Teams and Clinical Governance Optometrists. You'll create a culture where everyone is passionate about doing the right thing.
  • Using your passion for delivering patient care you'll work with colleagues to deliver a positive customer journey.
  • Bringing your vibrant personality into the day to day running of the practice – working with your colleagues to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Building longstanding relationships – not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community

What you'll need to have
  • Fully qualified / soon to be GOC registered Optometrist
  • Additional registration with the relevant NHS body
  • Fluent speaking English
  • Passion for patient care
