About the Role:
In this role, your responsibilities will involve collecting, analyzing, and sharing ESG data crucial for driving our sustainability endeavors and preparing insightful reports.
You will be tasked with managing a comprehensive Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) library and a Social & Governance (ESG) data repository to support reporting.
Your role will span various departments at H+H, where you will help with ethical audits and questionnaires, ensure compliance with ESG regulations, and contribute to strategies for reducing carbon footprint.
Engagement with UKAS-accredited laboratories is essential to our ongoing commitment to ESG and sustainability goals.
Your involvement in external industry events will enhance your professional knowledge, enabling effective collaboration with peers locally and globally to achieve our collective ESG objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep detailed records of the company's sustainability initiatives.
- Identify and address potential ESG risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate sustainability data requests and improve data collection processes.
- Help gather Carbon Accounting data and set goals for reducing carbon footprint.
- Enhance the company's position as a leader in the sustainable Aircrete products market.
- Strategically position the company to meet future environmental regulatory requirements.
- Drive results by setting ambitious goals, monitoring progress, and fostering continuous improvement.
About You:
- Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Materials Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Desirable to have training in GHG (Greenhouse Gas) accounting or IEMA with experience in a laboratory testing environment.
- Passionate about sustainability and proactive in staying updated on new developments and legislation.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptability, resilience, and readiness to embrace change in a dynamic environment, fostering positive relationships through empathy and active listening.
