A Day in the Life:

Our on-site RME Technicians can quickly address machinery issues, performing planned preventative maintenance to ensure safe operations. You will promptly respond to breakdowns, identifying and implementing solutions efficiently. Collaboration with senior colleagues is essential for daily maintenance tasks like painting and plumbing, as well as coordination with contractors for specialized expertise. Operating on various shifts is crucial to provide round-the-clock support for Amazon's swift operations.


About the Team:

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is dedicated to optimizing equipment performance. Comprising technically skilled individuals and guided by experienced leaders, the team collaborates to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at global fulfillment centers. Opportunities for career advancement exist within the RME team and across Amazon, with a focus on minimizing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Served a full Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in a relevant Engineering field
  • Experience as a qualified engineer
  • Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
  • Proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng
  • Experience in condition-based monitoring
  • Experience with print and apply machines
  • Experience in maintaining conveyor or automation systems
