Press Brake Operator

Following investment and expansion of our busy and varied manufacturing workshop, Raaft have an exciting opportunity for a Press Brake Operator to join the team on a late shift.

Working Monday to Friday 13:45 to 22:00, 41.25 hours per week, your responsibilities will be:

- Operation of the Press Brake machine ensuring that output is maximised
- Machine maintenance and log
- Managing and recording all work accurately on the time sheets provided
- Managing and working from issued drawings and signing off work as required
- Reporting H&S and process issues to the management team

You will be an excellent team player, able to work under pressure and you will have a “can do” attitude.

You will need:

- Full valid UK driving licence and your own transport due to the location of the site
- Fabrication workshop experience is essential
- Experience of reading engineering drawings is essential
- Ideally some steel machinery experience

- steel machinery: 1 year (preferred)
