Oaklands Global are currently looking to recruit an experienced Deputy CAM for a reputable client based in South East London. Reporting directly to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager, this role involves overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) department across various sites.

All candidates must already hold the right to work and live in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Deputy to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager at our Biggin Hill site.
  • Provide oversight of all continuing airworthiness activities as per regulatory requirements.
  • Support the CAMO team across multiple sites.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with various teams to support Air Operator Certificate (AOC) requirements.
  • Assist in the development of Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMP).
  • Conduct airworthiness reviews and support certification processes.
  • Review and approve variations to AMPs.
  • Respond to audit findings and ensure personnel are suitably qualified.
  • Prepare reports on fleet performance.

Requirements

  • Understanding of aircraft continuing airworthiness requirements.
  • Familiarity with Occurrence Reporting and Safety Management Systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficient in computer literacy and communication skills.
  • Part 66 licensed engineer or aeronautical degree with relevant experience.
  • Ability to act as an ARC Signatory.
  • Knowledge of CAMO management software.
  • Aviation Human Factors training.
  • Completion of relevant aviation training courses.
  • General Familiarisation Training Course on specified aircraft models.
  • DBS Security Clearance and eligibility for SC clearance.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required.
  • Full-time, office-based role, Monday to Friday.
