We are currently recruiting an Activity Support Worker to join our diverse team in providing high quality care for our service users with learning difficulties.


You do not need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications - we're happy to work with you to help you become an excellent care worker.


Ambient Support is a registered UK charity with over 25 years' experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with a mental health need and people with a learning disability.

Our Learning Disability services provide care and support for people with a range of complex and specialist needs.

We provide person centred services using a range of support approaches such as Active Support and Positive Behaviour Support to help peoplegain skills and increase their independence.

**Our Care Support Worker's duties will be: - Providing social and emotional support, either at home and/or in their local community

  • Supporting residents with their personal care including personal hygiene needs if required
  • Support with their shopping and assisting with budgeting
  • Building/maintaining relationship with friends and family of our residents
  • Household tasks including cooking, cleaning and laundry
  • Going out for walks, meals and other activities that supported individuals may want to experience
