Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team in providing high-quality care and assistance to our service users. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to individuals with autism and mental health issues, including administering medication, implementing strategies based on applied behaviour analysis techniques, and supporting individuals in daily activities and personal care needs.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure proper documentation
- Provide one-to-one support to individuals with autism/brain injury
- Implement strategies based on applied behaviour analysis techniques
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans
- Support individuals in daily activities and personal care needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
Requirements:
- Proficiency in medication administration and patient care
- Knowledge of applied behaviour analysis principles
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism spectrum disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care or related field
