This company is a prominent player in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, based in Manchester. They are a large business with a diverse and inclusive workforce, dedicated to delivering top-quality products to their customers.

Description

  • Leading and managing the pick and pack team to meet daily targets
  • Ensuring all orders are accurately picked, packed and dispatched
  • Implementing and maintaining high standards of health and safety
  • Training new team members in proper pick and pack procedures
  • Monitoring team performance and providing regular feedback
  • Coordinating with other departments for smooth operation
  • Managing inventory and maintaining accurate records

Profile

A successful Pick and Pack Team Leader should have:

  • A background in the FMCG industry, preferably within a logistics role
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and packing
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary of £27,000 per annum, with potential for growth
  • 22 days of holidays plus 8 bank holidays, increasing to 24 days after 3 years of service
