Role Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Packing Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for the successful implementation of new processes at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the precise picking and packing of components into various finished test kits, requiring meticulous attention to detail due to the variability of orders. Collaboration with the Logistics Team will be essential to ensure efficient order turnaround from picking to shipping. We value continuous improvement and are looking for someone with a background in process review and implementation, who can think creatively and effectively execute tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in transferring existing processes to the new site.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping in accordance with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct packing runs to ensure the required quantity of kits is packed based on pending orders and inventory needs.
  • Receive and log delivered materials.
  • Ensure all goods and materials are stored in the appropriate temperature-controlled environments.
  • Maintain stock records, conduct cycle counting, and perform stock taking.
  • Prepare and complete dispatch documentation.
  • Pack goods for dispatch and manage the shipping of finished products to customers.
  • Maintain packing line clearance and uphold warehouse cleanliness.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Familiarity with 13485 Quality Management Systems is required.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, drive, thoroughness, and accountability.
  • Able to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
