Bolton's respected, state-of the art private hospital is looking for a dedicated, Registered Preassessment Nurse to join its friendly and supportive team.

This modern hospital provides high-quality treatment across a range of elective surgical procedures to adults.

You will support in assessing patients' health and wellbeing across a varied caseload meaning no two days will be the same.

Duties:

  • Delivering excellent patient care to presurgical patients.
  • To ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures.
  • Working to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users.
  • As a skilled member of the nursing team promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, with reference to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for records and record keeping.
  • Conduct yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Requirements:

  • Be NMC registered
  • 2 years' experience in a RGN role is ideal
  • A passion for leadership and staff development
  • Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
  • Strong communication skills
