Your primary base will be Duncan Macmillan House, Nottingham, but you will be required to travel to other Trust hospitals, care centres and premises.
There will also be a degree of flexibility in working from home arrangements.Working in partnership with the current EPRR Officer, the Post holder will:
Support the design and delivery of a comprehensive specialist EPRR, business continuity and recovery training and exercise programme for Senior Managers and On Call staff, including Command and Control through face-to-face training, workshops, e-learning, podcasts and presentations to ensure staff are competent and confident at delivering any role they may be assigned during a business continuity, critical or major incident.
Support the provision of an efficient, effective and high-quality professional work programme for the EPRR service capable of meeting all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements ensuring alignment with the activity of the organisation.
Co-ordinate and report outcomes for review from any exercises, training events and internal emergency response arrangements, technical systems such as operational alerts and communication arrangements to support the Trust's emergency response.
Work flexibly to support emergency response activities including providing specialist EPRR advice, administration and debriefs, writing reports and identifying actions to be taken and lessons learned.

Under the direction of the Strategic Head of EPRR & Counter Terrorism, the EPRR Officer will support the training, exercising and delivery of the Trust's major incident, emergency preparedness, business continuity, CBRN and resilience planning functions to ensure a robust and resilient response to any critical event or major incident across the Trust to align to the EPRR Framework and underlying EPRR Principles.
