Goods In/ Operations Assistant

Location:
Central Wight (Isle of Wight)

Hours:
average 40 hours per week ( must be flexible due to seasonal peaks)

Days:
Monday - Friday ( plus occasional Saturdays for stock take)

Duration:
Permanent

Duties:
Overseeing good inwards and stock rotation,
internal stock movements and delivery of stock between three island sites,
computerised stock control and stock takes,
operation of counterbalance forklift,
assisting dispatch team with palletising products and loading vehicles,
ensuring adherence to hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.

Experience:


Must have previous warehouse experience and a valid counter balance (B1) forklift licence (taken or refreshed within the last three years), as well as a full driver's licence.

Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new systems.

Must be physically fit due to the nature of manual handling duties and have the ability to work well on own initiative, as well as part of a team, within a fast paced environment, to deadlines.


Salary:
£12.00 per hour worked
