Outstanding customer service is critical, building relationships with our customer is fundamental and having a pro-active 'can do' attitude is essential.

The role of the driver is extremely important to our business and is wider than simply delivering food.

Think of yourself as an ambassador you are the face of our business and will always need to provide exceptional customer service.

The role will involve delivering frozen food/groceries to our customers, plus assisting other areas of the business
- e.g warehouse and at times helping to build up established rounds.


The role is more than just driving and delivering Frozen food orders, it is creating a rapour with our customers.

Dealing with any concerns/complaints that may arise, liasing with the office for support and working as part of a team to create the best service we can offer.


Tasks that you will be responsible for:

  • load customer orders into the van and check all paperwork is correct.
  • Deliver customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Collect payment for orders if applicable, cash up your round at the end of the day.
  • Check your van daily and report any damage/ issues. Ensure van is clean at all times.

  • Accurately record the load space temperature in the freezer vans.

SKILLS_

Experience in delivery driving is preferred

A full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.

Friendly customer service focused manner.

Excellent time management.

Must be able to work under pressure, flexible and reliable.

Holidays - 25 days per year
