Permanent Contract
In the role of Claims Advisor within our Claims and Underwriting department, you will join a close, experienced team working with multiple major brands in the financial services industry.
You will answer calls from our customers regarding their claims from the initial notification stage through to payment for Life, Waiver of Premium, Income Protection and Terminal/Critical Illness benefits and other products that may be specific to a client account.
You will have varied responsibilities including collating and recording information according to strict requirements, ensuring the correct people are involved at the various stages and providing necessary updates as required.
In this position, you will demonstrate your attention to detail and communication skills to ensure claims are processed properly and accurate information recorded and provided to customers, providing customers with high-quality service.
What you will be doing:
- Answer inbound calls from customers
- Complete administration work from the call within service standards
- Complete administration work to chase outstanding information and update customers
- Ensure customer records are accurately maintained
- Achieve targets to maintain productivity, quality, and contractual service level agreements
- Accurately complete any quality/productivity documentation required
- Accurately recognise and record complaints and resolve where appropriate and had off when required to appropriate person/area
- Accurately hand off complex technical telephone queries to the appropriate person /area

- Previous experience in a contact centre customer service role
- A genuine passion for helping people
- Confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner
- Excellent listening skills and an ability to problem solve
- A fast learner with an attention to detail
- The ability to work under pressure
- Someone who is punctual and reliable
