About us

We are a small company based in Hoo providing plant glazing services in the South East. We are looking for a bookkeeper/ admin employee to work on a part-time basis 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and issuing payments
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
  • Assist with monthend and yearend closing processes
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or trends
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or trends in financial data
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments
