Job Description

A reputable construction company in the industry is currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a part-time basis for a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and performing routine accounting duties, including recording transactions, managing ledgers, and processing business expenses.
  • Collaborating with the accounting team to produce financial reports and assist with the analysis of financial data.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate accounting processes are in place and followed.
  • Managing payroll, reconciling bank statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Generating and processing invoices, tracking receivables, and managing collections.
  • Preparing financial statements and supporting audit preparations when necessary.
Requirements:
  • A solid track record with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and a strong grasp of accounting principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • The capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective communication skills, ensuring clear and concise financial reporting.
