2:45pm till 5:30pm Term time only

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team.

As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children to play and learn.

Your role will involve supervising and facilitating various activities, ensuring the well-being of the children, and promoting their social and emotional development.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise children during playtime activities
• Plan and organize ageappropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
• Provide guidance and support to children in their social interactions
• Ensure the safety of all children by implementing appropriate safety measures
• Maintain a clean and organized play area
• Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members regarding children's progress and any concerns
• Drive the implementation of the daily schedule and routine
• Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a group of children effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• A passion for working with children and promoting their development

Job Type:
Part-time

Pay:
£8.60-£12.15 per hour

Expected hours: 8.25 per week
