Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team. As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children to play and learn. Your role will involve supervising and facilitating various activities, ensuring the well-being of the children, and promoting their social and emotional development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise children during playtime activities
- Plan and organize age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
- Provide guidance and support to children in their social interactions
- Ensure the safety of all children by implementing appropriate safety measures
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Drive the implementation of the daily schedule and routine
- Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a group of children effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- A passion for working with children and promoting their development

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £8.60-£12.15 per hour

Expected hours: 8.25 per week
