Anaesthetics Administrative Co-ordinator

To act as admistrative coordinator for the Anaesthetics department, where you will be responsible for supporting the collation and production of the Trust's Anaesthetics rota, in conjection with Anaesthetics Clinical Rota Co-Ordinator.
Ensuring the accurate tracking of annual and sickness leave on CLW and submitting banks shifts via the Patchwork system for prompt payment
You will also be expected to provide a comprehensive administrative function to the department with duties including minute taking, setting up meetings, booking rooms, and other general admin duties.
T o assist the Anaesthetics Clinical Rota Co-Ordinator in maintaining the medical staff rotas, reviewing the workload of the group and coordinating support.
- Ensuring CLW and Patchwork are kept up to date in line with the Theatres forward planning schedule.
- Ensure all medical rotas are completed and uploaded eight weeks in advance, with the support from a nominated Lead Clinician, to maintain the basic grade / SHO rota and identify any problems to the Service Manager.
- To assist the Clinical Lead / Operations Manager in the day to day administration of staff in the division by coordinating the induction and training of new substantive and temporary medical staff.
- Support consultants working across multiple sites, and ensure there are adequate lines of communication in place between the Homerton and the secretaries at partner sites.
- Diarise planned responses and support the management of paper clinics
- Where the service requires, provide direct booking of appointments
- Support for meetings including minutetaking when required.
- Provide holiday/sickness cover for work colleagues under the buddy system including opening mail, typing urgent correspondence, fielding calls and recording referrals.
