**Overview of the role: The Group Stock Controller will be responsible for implementing efficient stock control processes, minimising losses, and ensuring accurate stock levels to support the company's overall business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and replenish as needed to meet demand.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies. Support the upskilling of General Managers to accurately complete stock audits within their venue.

Forecasting and Planning:

  • Collaborate with various departments to understand demand forecasts.
  • Utilise historical data and trends to predict future demand and optimize stock levels. Work closely with procurement teams to ensure timely and costeffective stock replenishment.

System Management:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of stock management systems.
  • Ensure accurate and uptodate records of stock movements. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to stock control systems.

Reporting:

  • Generate regular reports on stock levels, stock movements, and key performance indicators.
  • Analise data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to management for optimising stock performance.

Loss Prevention:

  • Implement measures to minimise stock losses due to theft, damage, or expiration. Conduct investigations into stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with suppliers and venues to streamline processes. Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies related to stock control. Stay informed about industry best practices and implement improvements accordingly.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Implement initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency of stock management operations.

Required experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably in a multilocation environment.
  • Full understanding of Zonal stock management platform
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using stock management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in stock control.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
