The Opportunity
As a Touring Pilot, you'll step into a unique role. This is your chance to join Babcock Mission Critical Services Onshore (BMCSO), a top provider of critical helicopter services to the air ambulance, police, and offshore sectors. Every day, BMCSO delivers exceptional operations that help save lives and safeguard communities.

Day-to-day, BMCSO operates EC and EC aircraft across various functions. The current opening is for a Touring pilot who will mainly support operations in the East, Midlands, and south of England. This role involves diverse and demanding flying tasks, including HEMS and NVIS operations. The successful candidate must uphold high standards of expertise and safety in this dynamic position.

This role is full-time and located at Staverton (Gloucestershire Airport).

Required Experience for the Touring Pilot:

Either:

hours as pilot in command of aircraft with hours as pilot in command on twin turbine helicopters; or hours as co-pilot in HEMS/Police operations with hours as pilot in command under supervision and hours as pilot in command of twin turbine helicopters. hours minimum total helicopter experience. hours operating experience in twin turbine helicopters in a similar operational environment. 20 hours VFR at night as pilot in command.

Preferred Qualifications for the Touring Pilot:

Recent multi-engine experience. Current or recent HEMS experience. Experience in NVIS operations.

Qualifications for the Touring Pilot:

Candidates applying for this role must:

Hold a UK ATPL(H) + IR Demonstrate proficiency in English, possess a Driving License, Passport, and Right to Work in the UK. Be qualified and instrument-rated on the EC.
