Job description

Main Purpose of Role


The focus of this role is to support a cohort of identified repeat victims of domestic abuse and/or stalking to reduce risk of harm to them.

Working within the Safeguarding, Disruption & Intervention Unit (SDIU), officers will provide enhanced support to victims whilst identifying a co-ordinating to disrupt perpetrator offending.

The applicant will work with vulnerable victims to ensure support networks are in place and to gather evidence to assist in disrupting offender behaviour through civil orders and other appropriate means.


The applicant will also support Nottinghamshire Police in the multi-agency, problem solving approach to protect and safeguard Adults and Children at risk of HBA/ FGM/FM including investigations as directed.


Key Skills & Experience Required
Applicants must be able to communicate well with members of the public.

Applicants must be MV vetted or attain MV vetting prior to taking up the post.

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence to drive manual vehicles
