Salary Range: £46,140 to £51,445 pro-rata, per annum
Work Location: Winchester, hybrid working (home and office based)
Hours per week: 37 (part-time hours will be considered)

The Role:

Joining our Intermediate Care Team and working collaboratively with health and social care colleagues, you'll lead a crucial service that provides quality and dedicated support to individuals who experience mental health concerns, to proactively encourage independent and safe living within the community through person centred social work support and strengths-based interventions.

Our team form part of the Younger Adults Service. We work countywide alongside the Community Mental Health and Substance Misuse Social Care Teams, the Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) service, and the Independent Futures Team, supporting young people transitioning from Children's to Adults' services. Our team, including AMHPs and Best Interest Assessors (BIAs), provides a unique breadth of expertise, enabling us to support with diverse and complex needs.

As a qualified, registered Social Worker in this critical leadership role, you'll manage the team and undertake strategic planning to ensure we continue to deliver an excellent service to adults in our community, whilst continually improving and adapting our service in response to the changing environment.

Your first-class relationship building skills will be vital alongside your extensive experience of taking responsibility for the professional practice of others and acting as a senior decision maker, ideally in another management role. You'll enjoy motivating colleagues and be skilled at assessing risks, identifying needs and analysing information, even whilst working under pressure. With excellent problem-solving skills, you'll be able to quickly identify solutions and use your strong influencing and negotiation skills in challenging situations, to achieve the best outcomes.

Travel Requirements
