An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Porter position within Day Surgery & Endoscopy Unit (DSEU) at South Bristol Community Hospital.

Are you interested in working within our Theatres and Endoscopy/ward areas, supporting our existing workforce? Can you bring something new and exciting to this role? DSEU has 2 x theatres, 2 x Endoscopy Rooms, 1 st stage recovery, 2 nd stage Recovery and PODS area.

We have a variety of specialities that are all performed on the unit as day cases. We all work closely with the main site Theatres and Endoscopy.

Applicants that have previously applied need not apply.


As the Theatre Porter, you will be committed to maintaining high standards of work in line with the Trust Policies and Procedures, providing clear and effective communication skills to enable the nursing teams to effectively provide our patients, both in practice and professionally, deliver a quality service to all.

There will be delegated daily tasks that you need to carry out and maintain good documentation daily.
