The role

As Evnex's Residential Sales Representative, your core focus will be achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for closing residential sales leads for customers who are wanting chargers installed at driver's homes across New Zealand and Australia.

  • Follow-up with customer enquiries and close sales leads for New Zealand and Australian customers.
  • Improve customer satisfaction by effectively communicating with customers and providing key support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Onboard key commercial partners to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Learn to sell complex solutions and simplify problems for customers.
  • Influence and establish strong relationships between the sales, marketing and operations teams across markets.
  • Contribute positively to the team culture and embrace the core values by demonstrating authenticity, fun, excellent customer service and an aptitude for growth.

What we're looking for:

The right candidate will have a sales or customer service background, be comfortable in picking up the phone and talking to customers and making sales themselves. You'll have the ability to quickly interpret and translate technical information. As Evnex's sales culture is highly relationship-based, the candidate will naturally build strong relationships and get a kick out of providing a great outcome for the customer.

A positive, self-aware attitude is highly valued at Evnex, you'll be prepared to put in the extra work at times, and be rewarded with a competitive salary, plus commission and opportunities for growth.

You may be a good fit if you can demonstrate the following:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a confident, articulate ability in both verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to problem solve, and adapt to new ways of working with limited resources.
  • High energy to follow up with customers and close deals.
  • Proficient in CRM software.
  • Strong listening skills with an ability to understand customer needs.
  • Genuine interest in clean tech / renewables.
  • Ability to work at pace and under high-pressure situations.
  • Candidates who are able to start and finish later in the day to align to the Australian timezone would be ideal, but this is not essential.
  • Enjoy the thrill of closing sales, solving customers' problems and celebrating wins.
