Are you a passionate and dedicated CAMHS Therapist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Priory Hospital Ticehurst is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team in providing high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents.
Priory Hospital Ticehurst is a leading provider of mental health services for young people in the UK. Our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) department offers a comprehensive range of therapeutic interventions for individuals aged 5-18 years old, supporting them through a variety of mental health challenges.
Role Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating individualized treatment plans for young people experiencing mental health difficulties.
Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), family therapy, and other modalities.
Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists
Engaging with families and carers to support the therapeutic process and facilitate positive outcomes.
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Requirements:
Qualified and accredited as a CAMHS Therapist (e.g., HCPC registration, BABCP accreditation).
Demonstrated experience working within a CAMHS setting, preferably Camhs outpatients service.
Strong clinical skills in conducting assessments, delivering a range of therapeutic interventions, and managing complex cases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing person-centred care and promoting the well-being of young people and their families.
Willingness to adhere to professional codes of conduct and uphold ethical standards in practice.
