Your Role


In this role you will be responsible for producing periodic performance metrics and financial analysis to enable strategic decision making by the Chief Executive, Leadership Team and Board of Trustees.

You will lead on the configuration management of the leisure software system extracting key metrics, which enable effective measurement of financial and non-financial data.


Your Team
Youll be working within our Finance team and reporting to the Finance Manager and then Head of Finance

Your Responsibilities

  • Produce periodic financial and non financial metric reports for the organisation (data analytics on Income & Usage KPIs)
  • Set reporting timetable and data requirements with CEO and Leadership Team
  • Assist with preparation of annual budget/business plan
  • Income consolidation and entries to Sage including cash management as needed
  • Sales ledger / aged debtor analysis
  • Bank reconciliation on income
  • Vending month end process
  • Competitor and strategic pricing analysis
  • Markup / Margin analysis and ratios
  • Assisting External audit
  • Direct Debit Collection Process Management (AUDDIS, ADDACs, ARUDD)
  • Provide training for team members where needed

Your Experience

  • Preparing and reporting on management accounts and budget preparation.
  • VAT knowledge
  • Accounts IQ (Desirable)
  • Legend/Gladstone/Xplor CRM experience (Desirable)
  • Working in a busy finance department
  • Competent Microsoft Office user with excellent Excel skills

Your Qualifications

  • CIMApart qualified or AAT level 4 with extensive experience.
  • Qualified by experience in business analysis
