We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join our fantastic Catering Department.

You will be enthusiastic and will relish being a part of this dynamic team, delivering a high quality service which puts our patients and customers first.

The role will be working 20 hours per week working on a 3 week rota (2 weekends out of 3)


You will be required to undertake a wide range of duties including food preparation, cleaning, cash handling and meal service duties.

You should be equipped with excellent customer service skills and preferably have retail experience although training will be provided. Completion of audit forms associated with food safety, financial policy & procedures.

Please note that senior positions (AFC band 8A or above) may be expected to participate in an on-call rota, if the role is predominantly operational.


You will be part of a busy team working to tight timescales, required to undertake a wide range of duties including food preparation, cleaning, service of meals to patients.
