The Governors are seeking to appoint a Pupil Premium Support Worker (PPSW) as part of our strategy for positive learning experiences at St.

Alban's Catholic High School for our students that receive Pupil Premium funding.

The PPSW will work to support, encourage and develop our PP students, alongside their teachers, the pastoral team and their families.

The PPSW will regularly meet with our PP students to identify needs and help develop an individual plan for each student to best support and encourage them to achieve their potential at the school.


You will:

- have good oral and written communication skills
- be highly motivated and can work independently as well as within wider teams in school and across our trust
- be able to demonstrate an interest in the welfare and pastoral well-being of young people
- have a solid understanding of, and commitment to, working within the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion
- have a positive attitude, an optimistic approach to change and development, a balanced sense of perspective and a good sense of humour.
