Your new company
You will be joining an established Civil Engineering and Building contractor based in the East Midlands working on a major water framework in the Midlands.
This company has a strong pipeline of work across a multitude of different sectors, specialising in theassociated water infrastructure schemes, and has an excellent reputation for investing in their people.
They have a proven successful track record of delivering high quality construction projects across the UK and Ireland and are now looking to onboard a ProjectManager to work on multiple exciting design and build projects across the Midlands.
Your new role
You will be responsible for, but not limited to, managing the construction team and allocation of trades and labour, attending client and subcontractor meetings, ensuring project programmes are drawn up and adhered to on all projects, providing technical supportat tender stage, ensuring cost-effective use of resources as well as ensuring adherence to all HSE policies.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will hold an HND/HNC/degree in Civil or Construction Engineering and have previous experience within the water sector.
You will also have previous experience managing multiple sites simultaneously and managing all HSEQ aspectsin large construction schemes.In addition, you will have a strong understanding of NEC3/4 forms of contract and have strong working knowledge of CAD and Microsoft Project.
Finally, you will be a deadline-driven and motivated individual with excellent interpersonalskills and good commercial awareness.What you'll get in return
