An exciting development opportunity has arisen with the Management Information & Intelligence team within the Children, Young People and Education (CYPE) Directorate.

We are seeking a Management Information Assistant to play a key role in the enhancing the data quality and reporting of Education data.


This post is ideal for someone with an eye for detail as you will carry out accurate, timely and high-quality data input, collation, processing and analysis to ensure the operational delivery of excellent management information services.

You will be able to understand information and learn quickly to adapt to new systems and ways of working.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential in order to work effectively with customers within KCC directorates and education providers.

The post would suit an extremely organised individual with excellent data quality and customer service skills.


As an employee of Kent County Council, you will receive training suitable to the role and to support your development, along with excellent benefits, including 27 days annual leave, membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme and flexible working.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position.

The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.

The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.


Competency assessments will be on Thursday 11th May 2023 and those who meet the required standard will be invited to a face to face interviews on Friday 26th May 2023.
