About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an International Benefits Specialist to join the Ocado Reward Team.

In this role you will be responsible for the smooth running and set up of benefits and pensions (or similar investment programmes) across various Geographic Regions such as the UK, EMEA or AsiaPac.


Reporting into the Global Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for supporting brokering activities, benchmarking, advising on local trends or legislations that will impact your area, reporting on employee engagement, benefits education and process improvement and set up, as well as resolving employee benefit queries.

You will be:

Supporting the Global Benefits Manager in developing and implementing benefit arrangements for your region/countries.Oversee new benefit rollout including comms, process and stakeholder management.
Identify and resolve issues (sometimes complex), including providing support and guidance to employees on benefit related resolutions.Collaborate with stakeholders to keep them informed of regional benefit activity and also when resolving larger escalations.
Be the first point of escalation resolution for benefits and pensions (where Benefits+, helpdesk or Group Ops are not set up in country).Supporting benefits renewal in your region**-
Assesses new and emerging benefits: Recommend new benefits, policies, programs and changes based on review of current benefits offerings, employee needs analysis, market trends, and global benefits strategy, aligning with the Benefits Manager and/or Benefits Head before recommendations are made.Create (and keep up to date) benefit guides relevant to all employee life stages for our employees.
Contributes to improving the effectiveness of products and processes.Keeps abreast of all relevant laws (e.g. Mercer/Aon portals, through brokers, benefit networks etc.), emerging regulations and trends in your region and communicates these to the Benefits Hub**
We're looking for:
Excellent knowledge of benefits and pensions gained through working in a Benefits specialist role (or similar) in a Reward, HR or Benefits capacityStrong Benefits knowledge in geographic regions
  • UK mandatory, EMEA and Asia/Pacific experience would be highly desirable
    Demonstrable experience of leading or supporting on market reviews, benchmarking, gap analysis and implementation of benefits/pensionsExperience in Vendor management and working with Benefit Providers/brokers/ Vendors
    Knowledge of EMEA social security and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) arrangements and Liabilities (for EMEA roles) is useExcellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience
    Ability to prioritise effectively and work autonomouslyA solutiondriven mindset with a strong passion for problem solving**
