The National Bereavement Service (NBS) is a not-for profit company providing a free telephone helpline, email enquiries and webchat to bereaved people as well as dedicated helplines for Customer teams and Employers.

NBS is recruiting for this exciting new role to help develop and deliver our expanding portfolio of bespoke training courses.

You will be working with a wide diversity of roles and sectors, including charity volunteers, NHS trusts, social services frontline staff, and senior managers in business including housing, financial and legal organisations. You will also be responsible for our own internal training and being an information resource for the team.

The successful candidate(s) will have experience of training both in person and online and will have an understanding of the impact of bereavement on individuals and in the workplace. Previous employment in the NHS, social and emergency services, funeral, legal, finance or charity sectors would be an advantage.

The role is envisaged as full-time but applicants preferring part-time hours are welcome. The post is home-based but the applicant must be able to travel (including by public transport) throughout the UK.
