CDM Supervisor Job Description

Minimum CITB SMSTS or NEBOSH Cert

Duties:


Part of a team managing H&S on an engineering construction project, including installation of steelwork, processing equipment, M&E and utilities packages.

Review of RAMS for contracted site work activities.

Controlling access to the site and carrying out H&S inductions.

Issuing permits

Monitoring site work activities to ensure high standards of H&S practice are maintained.

  • Oversee construction scheduling
  • Help to ensure quality control measures are in place and are being followed
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure project success
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress
Assisting the planning, managing and coordinating of the construction work undertaken within the project. Working efficiently and effectively to tight deadlines.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in construction supervising
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
