Be part of our future

This is an exciting time to be joining the Development and Alumni Engagement Team (DAE) at the University of Warwick.

We're entering the early planning stages of a new major philanthropic campaign, which will significantly scale the ambition for the University's fundraising and engagement activity.

As a team, we have a major role to play in helping break down barriers to education and advancing research addressing some of our planet's biggest challenges.

Our alumni and donor community creates lasting value in society and the economy through supporting students, research and facilities at Warwick.

We're looking for someone who has a passion for making a difference.

As the Head of Events and Donor Relations, you will play a key role in leading the strategic direction for Development and Alumni Engagement (DAE) Events and our Donor Relations programme as the University of Warwick embarks on its most ambitious campaign to increase the active engagement of our alumni, students and staff communities and to raise new and transformative funds in support of the University's strategic philanthropic priorities.

The post holder will play a vital role in creating and driving the delivery of the strategy for alumni and supporter engagement, cultivation and stewardship events and donor relations that enable and increase the opportunities for mutually beneficial relationships with alumni and supporters to be activated in support of the University strategy and empowers the DAE team to attract, engage and retain its high value donors.

The programme will include both in-person and virtual events, such as dinners, receptions, lab visits and involve the Vice Chancellor and members of the University Executive, and Senior Faculty and Senior Volunteers from within our alumni and support communities.

In addition, the role will be critical to leading the strategic delivery of a comprehensive stewardship communications programme, ensuring that donors at all levels, including our highest-value (HNW and loyal) supporters have a positive journey with the University of Warwick, leading to long-term and productive relationships across all our communities.

We know that attracting the highest quality staff is fundamental to achieving our aims. We're committed to ensuring that our recruitment and selection practice is professional, fair and effective. For further information visit our website here.

If this sounds like an exciting challenge, then I look forward to meeting with you. Natalie Lloyd, Deputy Director (Philanthropy).
