We have a fantastic opportunity for a legal support assistant within our Clinical Negligence Department based in Shrewsbury.

Within our progressive and forward thinking firm you will assist lawyers by providing secretarial and administrative support.

The role will include communicating with existing and potential clients, working under supervision on various aspects of a file, including preparation of files and documents and attending clients to deal with queries or updates.

You will be responsible for all areas of administration, including time recording on client matters and ensuring time is billed where applicable.


The post holder is expected to use a high degree of self management and initiative and be able to maintain a highly professional, efficient, confidential and friendly service ensuring a quality service to clients is always achieved.

The role would suit someone who has worked in a busy and professional team orientated environment, previous legal experience is not essential as full training will be given.

Confidence in the use of Microsoft Word and IT systems and being able to demonstrate the ability to work in a busy environment are essential.

Good organisational and time management skills along with a high attention to detail and accuracy are also required.
