Waterfield's bakers are a well-established Northwest based family owned quality bakers with 37 shops across the North West, we are looking for a Saturday Retail Sales Assistant for our shop based in Churchtown Southport.


We have a friendly environment in a variety of locations across the Northwest where exceptional customer service is the norm not the exception.

As a Waterfield's retail sales assistant, you are expected to maximise sales through effective stock merchandising and customer service.

Key responsibilities include:
Delivery of excellent customer service.

Maximizing the sales at every opportunity.

In-store sandwich production, fresh sandwiches made fresh throughout the day.

In-store baking of all savoury and sweet pastry goods throughout the day (pasties, sausage rolls, custards eccles cakes etc)


A working knowledge of health & safety and food safety legislation would be an advantage although not essential as full training will be provided.

Working Hours


5 hours to be worked over 1 day per week on a Saturday additional hours will be available to cover sickness and holidays.


You will be rewarded with a competitive rate of pay with an excellent training programme and the opportunity to progress your career.
